Hmph, Ubuntussa videotoisto flickeröi rasittavasti. Myöskin compizin desktop cubessa on sama flickeröinti havaittavissa. Hitto. Testailin että jopa ilman compizia näyttäisi videot flickeröivän samalla tavalla.

Ubuntufoorumilta löysin jonkun kikan:

"gstreamer-properties

click the video tab and select "X window system (no XV)" from the plugin: dropdown menu"

mutta ei se mitään auttanut. vitun ati. Voihan olla että open-source ajurit toimivat paremmin:

"I'm completely flicker free in 3d and video using the open source ati driver.

Windowed or fullscreen."

Sitten löytyin vielä xorg.conf-kikka :

"Edit your etc/X11/xorg.conf file with this in the fglrx device section,

Option "TexturedVideo" "off"

Restart X and you're watching flicker free video.
